Chili Topping

2 tbsp. vegetable oil
½ lb. ground beef
1 small onion, chopped
½ green pepper, chopped
1 stalk celery, chopped
1 garlic clove, crushed
1 tbsp. chili powder
½ tsp. cumin
2 cups tomatoes, crushed, peeled, and seeded
salt and pepper

In a medium saucepan, heat 1 tbsp. oil and cook beef until brown, breaking up any lumps. Remove from pan. In same saucepan, heat remaining 1 tbsp. oil and saute’ onion, green pepper, celery and garlic for 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender. Add beef, chili powder, cumin, tomatoes, salt and pepper and cook for 20 minutes. Spoon over baked potatoes. Makes 6 toppings.
